Northwestern Mutual
In the 4+ years I was with LearnVest and Northwestern Mutual, my team was tasked with creating a unified co-servicing platform for the company’s advisors, staff, and Home Office representatives. (Northwestern Mutual Acquired LearnVest in 2015, fully dissolving the company by the end of 2018.)
For much of that time I led design and strategy for the platform (while still doing significant hands-on design), bringing research, content strategy, product, and engineering together to consolidate more than 450 disparate tools and services into a holistic and scalable experience. The result was an increase in productivity for the first time in more than 60 years.
